Wrist
recently held its annual meeting, which serves as the official
opportunity for our directors to update the membership on the status
of WRIST. The annual meeting also serves as the end of some of our
director’s terms and the beginning of new terms for incoming
directors. WRIST has been well served again this year and it is a
fitting time to thank our three retiring directors.
Marsh
Park is stepping down after serving her most recent three year term.
Marsha has been very involved with our MLS as demonstrated by the
fact that she had been a WRIST director previously, completing 6
years of total service. Marsha has served on several committees with
WRIST over her various terms.
Tony
Hannon is stepping down after completing 7 continues years as a
WRIST director. Tony served as WRIST President during our 2007-2008
year and on several committees, including the Rules and Regulations
Committee for many years.
David
Galbreath, Jr. is also stepping down. David has been a WRIST
Director since WRIST was first formed; completing 14 years of
continuous service. David has served every position on the board and
been involved in almost every committee or task force WRIST has.
David has earned the nickname “The Godfather of WRIST”.
Please join me in congratulating these three very dedicated
individuals for all of their time and effort to make our MLS better
for all. Together, these three members have provided 27 years of
service and they will be truly missed.

Office Schedule
The WRIST Office will be closed
on July 3rd in observance of Independence Day. We
hope you and your families have a very happy and safe 4th of
July weekend!There are no C/E classes
scheduled for the month of July due to traditional low
attendance in the summer. C/E classes will resume in the
first week of August. See schedule below.Stan Hartke will be at the
Springfield Board of Realtors office on July 1st from 9 am to 1
pm.David Brisker will be at the
Springfield Board of Realtors office on July 22nd from 10 am to
