Introducing FIND |
|
WRIST is pleased to make a new
product, FIND, available to the membership. FIND will be another
source of data our membership can use when researching a property.
FIND also gives our membership the ability to locate information on
properties outside of the WRIST MLS.
FIND is a product hosted by
Realtor.com to make this additional information possible. FIND takes
information that is available to the consumer, and adds information
only the Realtor community can access. One advantage is that members
of WRIST can use this data to generate referral business to their
clients moving out of the WRIST area.
FIND is available through the
smart link section on the home page of MLXchange, and thus requires
no additional log in. This new product launch will be a soft rollout
with the membership encouraged to access FIND and navigate around
the site. Realtor.com feels the product is very intuitive so there
is little need for formal training. WRIST will conduct overviews and
updates on FIND during the first quarter of 2012 to ensure that the
membership is aware of FIND. Please feel free to call into WRIST
with any questions you may have.

REALIST Launching Soon |
|
The WRIST Directors entered into an agreement
with Realist, the largest aggregator of tax data in the country. The
WRIST Board of Directors unanimously voted to incorporate Realist
into the WRIST service. The board felt that not only does this new
agreement give us access built right into the MLS for our seven
primary counties (Shelby, Auglaize, Mercer, Clark, Champagne, Logan
and Miami) but four additional counties as well (Allen, Montgomery,
Darke and Green). This means that not only can the listing agent use
auto-pop for a total of eleven counties during listing maintenance,
Realist also offers numerous overlays of data generated by geocodes
centered on the unique parcel ID within the eleven counties. The
amount of additional data that a member can access will be
extraordinary according to David Brisker, CEO of WRIST.
Currently, our plan is to begin offering
lecture style training at locations within the WRIST area, then
enable Realist for the eleven counties within MLXchange. This will
be followed by hands on continuing education training, tentatively
to begin next March. This is a rough outline of the training
process, which will be clearly defined with exact times and
locations in January. |
